The GuideBuilder SI system generates accurate DVB System Information (DVB-SI) data and provides an intuitive interface for managing program event information. DVB-SI is the foundation for DVB digital television transport streams—DVB-SI data is critical for important functions, such as DTV tuners finding your services and programs being listed in electronic program guides (EPGs). EPG data carried in the DVB-SI tables can hold guide data for many days/weeks and facilitate automatic recording of programs in PVR devices. GuideBuilder can import program data from many different sources, including listing services and traffic systems, automation systems and SI data from off-air/live signals. Local or customized data can be manually entered into the system as well.
