ABC HD-NAS messages are time sensitive announcements typically concerning programming changes coming from ABC's Network and directed to the ABC affiliated stations. The HD-NAS software module features two ways to view received HD-NAS messages; browsing of stored messages through a web browser, or automatic email distribution (optional). The GuideBuilder NVR takes advantage of the new and enhanced features of the HD-NAS messages by enabling message sorting and distribution filters based on the HD message metadata types, as well as at-a-glance subject lines.
