ORLANDO, Fla. — June 7, 2006
Triveni Digital, a subsidiary of LG Electronics, is debuting and
demonstrating complete digital signage and emergency alert network system
solutions at InfoComm 06 in the LG Electronics booth #2141. Both
demonstrations feature LG screens, displays, and receivers. The debuting
data broadcasting applications, SkyScraper™ Ensignia and SkyScraper™
Emergency Services Network, are extensions of Triveni Digital’s versatile
content distribution platform. Using SkyScraper-based solutions for the
secure delivery of digital information provides a cost effective
distribution method for businesses, schools, and broadcasters and enables
new revenue opportunities.
SkyScraper Ensignia’s suite of digital signage products are designed to
create, manage and distribute commercial messages via satellite, DTV or
Internet to individual displays and networks of displays. The demonstrated
solution optimizes bandwidth utilization and allows for scheduled content
distribution based on service level agreements (SLAs). Advertising content
displayed can range from simple text and still images to full-motion video,
with or without audio. LCD screens with integrated controllers simplify
installations and maintenance while reducing footprint requirements.
The SkyScraper Emergency Services Network (ESN) solution is built around
Triveni Digital software tools that enable public safety agencies such as
police, fire and EMS to deliver and display training videos and emergency
alerts on large LCD screens. The proven system uses public television
digital TV broadcast bandwidth as a unified and reliable communication
network to reach the targeted agencies. Encrypting content during
transmission to ensure security, ESN is equally applicable for local, state,
regional, and national agencies. ESN solutions can be designed for
simultaneous use by multiple public safety agencies.
Triveni Digital’s SkyScraper platform enables the point-to-multipoint
delivery of any digital content over cable, satellite, terrestrial and IP
networks. Content supported includes digital files, media streams, IP
traffic, software downloads, and iTV programming. Applications include B2B
data delivery, digital signage, homeland security, push VOD, and education
programming. The SkyScraper product family supports a wide variety of
receivers including wireless devices, set-top boxes, and LCD screens with
integrated controllers. Skyscraper systems deployed in broadcast stations
already cover more than 50% of US households.
