Triveni Digital Showcases New Features for Its Industry Leading PSIP Management System, Content Distribution Platform and Monitoring & Analysis Tools at NAB2005
Las Vegas — April 18, 2005 — NAB2005, Triveni Digital Booth #SU11411

Triveni Digital announced today that it is showcasing new features for its industry leading PSIP management system, content distribution platform as well as its monitoring and analysis tools at NAB2005.

Triveni Digital continues to set the pace with its industry-leading metadata management product line, GuideBuilder™. Adding further options in what is already the industry's most complete set of interfaces to important broadcast systems, GuideBuilder now supports PCMP, XML, multiplexer synchronization interfaces, and central casting options. In addition, Triveni Digital is demonstrating an option to ingest TV schedule information from TV Guide.

Further, using the GuideBuilder PSIP generator as "Metadata Central" is showcased with interfaces that enable direct export of up-to-date schedule information to a web site, or an automated feed to listing services such as TV Guide. Triveni Digital is also introducing new redundancy solutions and discussing its "Roadmap for Redundancy" for this now mission critical broadcast equipment.

SkyScraper™ is already the industry's leading content distribution platform. As the market enters a phase of tremendous system rollout activity, Triveni Digital is showcasing new applications, including Homeland Security/Emergency Alert, distribution of education content and content distribution to out of home digital displays.

The SkyScraper platform supports Push PVR applications and is being used for Cident Entertainment's subscription based video services. As content distribution applications go mainstream, a wide variety of receiver options are needed. Triveni Digital is showcasing a large set of SkyScraper receiver options from Triveni Digital and leading industry partners. Platforms supported include Mac, Windows, and Linux based systems, a variety of set-top boxes and receiver cards and bricks, including those that support 5th generation 8-VSB technology from LG Electronics.

For the first time, Triveni Digital is debuting its new iScope™ test environment. The first product in this suite of tools will be iScope ARTE (Automated Receiver Test Environment) for automated testing and validation of OCAP/ACAP/MHP applications on a variety of STBs and receivers.

Triveni Digital's StreamScope MT30 product line with significant new features including closed captions, ASI playout, GigE analysis with PCR, and template-based verification is also being demonstrated. The MT30's sophisticated distributed monitoring architecture is enhanced with 5th generation 8-VSB receiver technology, which is on display.
