GuideBuilder™ 3.0 PSIP Metadata Generation System for DTV Broadcasters
Triveni Digital's GuideBuilder, metadata management system for DTV broadcaster, collects, translates, manages, and generates PSIP data compliant with the ATSC/A65 standard. GuideBuilder version 3.0 has new and improved features for centralcasting support with multiple outputs carrying localized PSIP data. It provides remote departmental user interfaces and fault tolerant multiplexer-based table playout. GuideBuilder is renowned for its wide range of data interfaces: program listing services such as Tribune Media Services, automation and traffic systems such as Myers' ProTrack, Scout, Storers SIMS, Encoda, and other file or message based interfaces. Now GuideBuilder 3.0's interoperable equipment list includes Harmonic encoders and multiplexers. GuideBuilder 3.0 generates ATSC PSIP data based on the data input from these studio equipment or external services, or by manually compiled program listings. It then feeds the PSIP tables automatically into the outgoing ATSC transport stream by interfacing to the encoder or the multiplexer, as part of the regular DTV broadcast along with the audio, video, and other data streams to produce the ATSC transport stream. GuideBuilder 3.0 features support for up-to-date PSIP standard developments such as Directed Channel Change. The flexible data interface options and fault-tolerant capabilities enable DTV broadcasters to generate and manage PSIP data that are fully ATSC compliant without staff additions and expensive retraining.
StreamScope™ MT-25 DTV ATSC Transport Stream Monitor and Analyzer
Triveni Digital's award-winning StreamScope ATSC transport stream monitor and analyzer for DTV transport streams records, monitors, measures, and analyzes the DTV streams and signals to ensure they are free of problems and complies with the ATSC standards. StreamScope MT-25 features a newly advanced state-of-the art VSB tuner and demodulator for improved VSB reception, cross-table analysis functionality for easy visualization of complex cross-linking of PSIP, and MPEG-2 tables. It also provides SNMP-based remote monitoring feature. Broadcasters can now measure and monitor their DTV signals and transport streams throughout their geographic coverage area, while ensuring that their transport streams are compliant with the ATSC standards. StreamScope MT-25's user-friendly on-screen interface makes for easy operation and understanding without detailed knowledge of ATSC standards. This product is available both in rackmount and portable versions.
Cable StreamBridge Metadata Transformer for ATSC Stream Carriage over Cable
Triveni Digital's Cable StreamBridge automates and simplifies compliance with terrestrial-to-cable cross-carriage agreements including the NCTA-CEA agreement for carrying ATSC signals over local cable infrastructures. Cable StreamBridge grooms programs and metadata from terrestrial DTV streams and customizes them for the cable head-end, optimizes streams to decrease bandwidth taken up for PSIP, dynamically updates Electronic Program Guide (EPG) data from terrestrial PSIP, and supports multiple inputs and outputs simultaneously.

*Sinclair Broadcast Group (SBG) has selected Triveni Digital to provide PSIP management system and ATSC monitoring and analysis solution to all of the SBG stations.
