Clear Channel Television Selects Triveni Digital for Groupwide PSIP Implementation
Sale Includes ATSC Stream Monitoring and a Specially Modified Systems for Duopoly and Triopoly

Triveni Digital Inc. (LVCC South Hall booth L18764), the leading provider of data and metadata digital television equipment and solutions, has been selected by Clear Channel Television to provide PSIP implementation and ATSC transport stream measurement solutions for its group of 18 television stations. The agreement calls for Triveni Digital to provide Clear Channel with seven GuideBuilder PSIP Metadata Generation Systems and seven StreamScope™ ATSC Transport Stream Monitor and Analyzers. As part of this agreement, Triveni Digital was also called upon to provide five specially engineered GuideBuilders with dual playout capability for the Clear Channel Television duopolies in Harrisburg (PA), Jacksonville (FL), Little Rock (AR), Mobile (AL), and Tulsa (OK) as well as one triple playout GuideBuilder for the Clear Channel Television triopoly in Memphis (TN).

In situations where Clear Channel operates duopolies and a triopoly, GuideBuilder has been modified to allow a single PSIP system to send out different PSIP data for each individual station for a seamless and integrated solution.

GuideBuilder allows broadcasters to collect, translate, manage, and generate PSIP data compliant with the ATSC/A65 standard, with features for centralcasting support with multiple outputs carrying localized PSIP data. StreamScope records, monitors, measures, and analyzes digital television station's streams and signals to ensure they are free of problems and comply with ATSC standards. StreamScope features a newly advanced state-of-the art VSB tuner and demodulator for improved VSB reception, cross-table analysis functionality for easy visualization of complex cross-linking of PSIP, and MPEG-2 tables.
