StreamScope Price Discounted to Assist in DTV Transition
Cable Television Operators can Deliver DTV Over Their Networks With Joint Solution
Princeton Junction, NJ, November 1, 2001
Triveni Digital Inc. announced today that in order to help the industry transition to digital, it is deeply discounting the price of its StreamScope product for the fourth quarter, effective immediately. Until December 31, the price of the rack-mount version of this award-winning ATSC stream monitor and analyzer has been reduced in price by over 30%.
"We are taking this action in order to help the industry move forward with the DTV transition," commented Triveni Digital Vice President of Sales Russell Wise. "As broadcasters build digital transmission capability, they need assurance that their signals are standards compliant and can be received correctly. With digital, the standards and the equipment for creating the broadcast stream are more complex than ever. StreamScope was designed specifically for the broadcaster - to provide certainty that the product they are airing is correct. If there are problems, StreamScope provides easy-to-use tools to quickly determine what is wrong and make the necessary corrections. StreamScope is the most cost effective, feature-rich product to address this important need."
As summed up by a recent TV Technology product review: "While a number of monitoring and evaluation systems have been developed, the StreamScope was the first I saw that demonstrated a number of useful features in a graphical rather than a tabular setting."
StreamScope Real-time ATSC Transport Stream Monitor and Analyzer was named one of the most innovative products at NAB Show in 2000. It is the most versatile and feature-rich monitoring and troubleshooting tool for DTV broadcasters available today. It includes 8-VSB input and video and audio rendering. Its innovative user interface makes understanding all aspects of the broadcast stream easier. StreamScope allows broadcasters to record, monitor, measure and analyze their DTV streams and signals (as well as those of any other broadcaster through the 8-VSB input). Broadcasters can measure and monitor reception of their ATSC DTV signals and transport streams throughout their geographic coverage base, while ensuring compliance of their transport streams with ATSC standards. StreamScope is available in rack-mount and portable configurations.
